Meeting notes that become action items.

Day ’N Deed connects meeting notes with the work that follows. Record a conversation you have permission to record, or import an authorized recording. Review the transcript, summary and suggested actions, then choose what becomes a task.

In iOS TestFlight and Android internal testing. Public store release coming soon. Ask about beta access; invitations are subject to availability.

From recording to a useful next step

  1. Open Capture → Meeting and tap Record when you are ready.
  2. Swipe Capture down, switch apps or lock the phone while recording continues. Use the red bar inside the app to return.
  3. Tap Stop to save. Transcription follows your After recording preference; with AI enabled and allowance available, a summary follows.
  4. Read Summary, Transcript and Next steps, using the jump controls to move between them.
  5. Review names, dates and suggested actions. Choose what becomes an assigned task or a private commitment.

A failed processing request preserves saved audio for retry. Force-quitting stops capture; reopen Capture to check for recoverable audio. In the newer recording build, iOS 17 or later can show a Lock Screen or Dynamic Island Stop control when Live Activities are available. If it is unavailable, reopen the app to stop.

Original recording or a narrator?

Choose Original recording to hear the real speakers. Seek to a timed passage, skip 15 seconds, change speed or save a bookmark. Original audio stays on the device that saved it; other devices and older meetings may not have it.

Choose Narrator voice to hear the transcript read aloud. Preview Man 1, Man 2, Woman 1 or Woman 2, then select the voice you prefer. The offline Device voice is a separate option. These are not Siri voices or verified speaker identities.

New AI narration requires consent, a connection and allowance. Prepared audio can be replayed without another AI request. Prepare the audio before locking the phone.

What does cloud transcription require?

Cloud transcription and summaries require internet access, your consent and available allowance. The newer recording build accepts recordings up to approximately 90 minutes and 20 MB. Processing can use more than one AI request. On-device voice recognition is available on supported Apple devices without using cloud transcription minutes.

Can it record Zoom or phone calls on the same iPhone?

This release does not include live capture of a phone, Teams or Zoom call running in another app on the same iPhone. Import a recording you are authorized to use instead. Obtain the necessary permission before recording a conversation.
